A few weeks ago, I was approached by a young lady wanting to do a special project for the summer. Dorian is working towards her Girl Scout Gold Award and suggested that we provide weekend meals for kids during the summer. I though it was a GREAT idea and I challenged her to create and run the program. Dorian is doing an AMAZING job. She created the flyers, weekly menus and decorated the backpacks. She even came up with a catchy name for the project. She calls it Project H.O.P.E. (Helping Out People Everyday). Dorian is definitely a leader in the making and I'm proud to help her achieve her goals.
