We received this heartfelt email from Alma Obispo, Assistant Manager at Tara’s property. Her words are a reminder of the impact we’ve made so far, but also of the urgency of the situation:

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the assistance you have provided to Ms. Brown in addressing her back rent. Your dedication to supporting our residents in their time of need is truly commendable and reflects the incredible impact of your work.
Ms. Brown has shared her appreciation for your involvement, and she remains hopeful that with your help, she will be able to remain in her home. However, I feel it is important to inform you that, while we deeply value your efforts, the property must continue to enforce its policies. If the remaining balance is not resolved by January 31st, the eviction process may unfortunately need to proceed.
We understand the difficulty of her circumstances, and we are doing everything within our capacity to work with her. If there are any additional resources or solutions you can offer to help her meet the deadline, we would be more than happy to collaborate.
